I graduated with an MBA in marketing from Keller Graduate School of Management at the end of 2010. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a marketing emphasis from the University of Northern Colorado. I have always written as a hobby, but have recently decided to attempt to turn it into a freelance career. I am currently contributing to four other content sites in addition to Suite 101 and pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing, with an emphasis in fiction at Antioch University, Los Angeles.

Besides my non-fiction pieces, I also write novels, short stories, poetry, and contribute to a personal blog. My writing interests include spirituality, Buddhism, daytime television, films, theatre, philosophy, physical fitness, vegetarian nutrition, high sensitivity as a personality trait, music of all genres, travel, women's/feminist studies, advertising/marketing strategy, employee relations/organizational culture, and world history. As a former Walt Disney World Cast Member, I also love just about anything Disney related, especially the dramatic work that is produced under their studio and television subsidiaries.
